I started my journey last night in Goa and came with a sleeper bus to Hampi, well nearest city to Hampi, is Hospet.
So I took a rikcha together with an Israeli guy, he hadn’t booked anything so he said: I’ll come with you.
The driver said he knows a place where Israelis go, “there’s many”.
45 minutes later we arrived to small restaurant with 10-15 tents surrounding the place. NO tourists, I got a bit mad and He, the Israeli guy, felt completely fooled. F$#^k
So we had to go back to Hampi, another 30-35 minutes or so in the opposite direction.
Got here. I payed for the fair and found a room. He was pissed so continued his journey finding his countrymen. Really nice guy so I hope he will find them.
For those of you wondering what’s going on. Not much is the short answer. Got a ac cold on my hands and been resting today. Runny nose is embarrassing. Everybody is looking.
Well. It’s onwords and towards new possibilities, this too will pass.
This morning I had porridge for those of wondering. And omelette, pancakes and tea mind you.
It’s been a long night, with dogs barking every 5 minutes and howling continuously.
Woke up at 4. Waited for the light and worked out on the porch, and got really surprised when someone licked my face in the middle of my push-ups. That was my little friend the puppy. I had my earbuds in so it really startled me.
After that I went for a walk on the beach.
Now breakfast.
It’s so quit here. I’m the only tourist in this restaurant.
One more night here and then I’m off to Hampi.
The quest for tomorrow… find a restaurant that opens before 8am. Need my coffee after my workout

Packing for My Roadtrip/Photo Trip to Burning Man 2019 !
We, Julia Reinhart and I, will first roam the countryside of US and do some#landscapephotography and probably have a beer or two on the way.
Follow us on this 3 week trip thru California and Nevada…ending up at #burningman2019 at the end of the month.

Leaving in 24 hours…and I just don’t know how to pack
Time for my trip to Burning Man in Black Rock City, Nevada.
I will be flying into San Francisco next Friday, Aug 16.
The first couple of weeks we will be on the road, crossing off some places from my Bucket List 😉
I don’t have the exact route planned but after San Francisco I’m going south thru Big Sur.
A few obvious stops, like Trona Pinnacles, Death Valley, Yosemite, Bodie. We will see where we end up.
I’m thinking about starting up my YouTube channel again, but this time in English. Meanwhile for updates follow me on:
Snart är det dags att åka till Burning Man i Black Rock City, Nevada.
Jag kommer att flyga till San Francisco nästa fredag, den 16/8.
De första veckorna blir det en rundresa genom Kalifornien och Nevada, en fotoresa mer än ngt annat.
Jag skall försöka att Lägga ut lite på Facebook under resans gång. Livesändningar från diverse intressanta platser och spela in material för Youtube under resans gång.
[:en]As you all know, I have my Olderhvit Photography Facebook Page, with my “daily” update of my work.
However, I have 2 sides to my photography. Street Photography and then everything else. (alot of my boring commercial work is not posted at all)
For some time I have used another site for my Street work , under the name: Framing The Street (will be updated shortly I hope) 😉
I also felt that posting too much of my Street work on Olderhvit Photography page, would put all the focus on Street Photography. That’s why I have been holding back.
So, finally I had to do something about it, hence the new Facebook page with the same name as the site – Framing The Street on Facebook
There’s been a lot of ifs and buts about the site, and as a working photographer with a side job, I just haven’t had the time to bother myself with all that 😉 – if you do find any problems and/or mistakes on the site…please drop me a line at: petri@olderhvit.com
